Actually....on some days you can see Big Diomede Island, which is a real stretch to call it "Russia". Here is the link to the wikipedia post: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diomede_Islands
ReplyDeleteAs for actually BEING where you could look out and see the Diomedes, you would be near a place called Tin City. Tin City is NOT a place where any sane person would want to be, but then, they are Alaskans...Years ago I worked in that country supplying native villages with tugs and barges. Sarah Palin is a danger to us all.
