    Hate radio? So if someone voices disagreement with your ideas, views and policies it must therefore be hateful?

    You know better than that, Tony. A few examples however:

Baker did not note that The New York Times article Palin cited for her claim about Obama's association with William Ayers reported that "the two men do not appear to have been close," or that the Obama campaign did indeed respond to Palin's claim. -- Chris Baker

    Just a few. I don't mind discussing issue, but that's not what conservative hate radio does. They lie, they call names, they divide.

    Precisely what is your problem with Gingrich's statement?

    Precisely what is your problem with Baker's remark about Obama (other than the gratuitous 'b' word), since, as we all know (and KNEW,) Obama was indeed "palling around with terrorists" for a long, long, time?

    And what, precisely, is your problem with Savage's statement?

    No Tim, I don't know better. I grant you that there may be a few who go overboard (Michael Savage leaps to mind). But if you look at your post, it has a label of Sykes. While Charlie can be abrasive at times (ok much of the time), and you may not agree with him much, I do listen to him and Jeff frequently and frankly I cannot think of any times that their shows can be classified as hate.

    In fact, I would say that most conservative radio hosts are not hateful. Maybe you are just not tolerant and accepting enough.

    And I have to second Dad29's question: What exactly do you find hateful about Gingrich's statement? You may not like it or agree with it, but I cannot even fathom how you could construe that as hateful.

    Gay fascism? Ludicrous. Once again, it really comes down to you don't like anyone just the slightest bit uppity. You didn't like when the blacks complained and you don't like it now. Your kind just wishes gays would have stayed in the closet.

    That I have to explain the hate to you dad is kind of sad. Because someone is against Prop 8 they must be full of hate? Just the statement by Savage is hateful.

    Calling Obama a "little bitch" isn't hateful? Saying he palled around with terrorists is absolutely false and hateful, too.

    That you find no problem with Baker's statement is now obvious, considering your thoughts on the first two.

    I should have started a new label -- talk show hosts. I can't think of anything off hand hateful that Sykes or his bland counterpart have ever said, but I'm sure others who actually track them and keep tabs could provide ammo.

    I do know I cannot stand more than 15 seconds of either.

    Nonsense? You haven't noted the ugly harassment in California over the failure of Prop8?

    "Totalitarian" Christianity? Provide a couple of examples. The only one I know of in recent history was the Civil War, propagated by a Christian--against OTHER Christians--for what is right.

    I DID purposely exculpt the "B" word from the discussion---because I don't think he shoulda used it.

    But in fact, Obama DID "pal around" with Ayers, who was a domestic terrorist. He and his gang blew up buildings, killed cops...and Obama was very close to Ayers from the time Obama arrived in Chicago. Those are facts; even the MSM has admitted to them.

    Finally, opposing Prop8 is not "hate." It is irrational to equate the two. But maybe being irrational doesn't bother you.

    Gay facism is ludicrous? Tell that to e-Harmony.com, a company run by a Christian. A gay in New Jersey sued them because they would not set him up with a gay partner. Now it seems to me that he could have used any number of match making companies to find himself a partner. But instead, he choose to force a e-Harmony to accomodate him. He and many others of his ilk are not interested in trying to get along, but to force others to accept them no matter if we disagree with them. Sounds like gay facism to me.

    Read Savage's comment again ... aside from the inclusion of the word "hate" a number of times, you really find nothing hateful in what he wrote? You honestly believe that those who opposed Prop 8 actually hated as much as Savage claimed?

    btw: The victim game does not become you daddio. When you truly have been victimized by a gay person, let me know and I might shed a tear.

    Are you claiming Obama blew up buildings? Hmmm. Actually, it has never, ever, been stated that Obama and Ayers were close. No where. They worked for the same goals in Chicago, were even on the same board -- my gosh, they may have even spoke to each other -- but close, that's simply not true.

    Broad stroke: The Inquisition. Let's not forget the Church's benign support of the Nazi regime in its fight against Communism. Just a couple. I could pull out any number of tomes supporting this. And, I for one find it rather totalitarian to be told how to live my live and if I do not abide in the proper manner my otherwordly life (arguable) might be threatened.

    That hardly qualifies as fascism, unless they wore leather boots and goosestepped their way into court. Don't think so. Instead it sounds like that good ol' American spirit -- litigate, litigate, litigate. Good for them. If you don't like it, sue e-Harmony.

    Fascism (definition per Merriam-Webster) 2: a tendency toward or actual exercise of strong autocratic or dictatorial control.

    In other words, you won't voluntarily give me what I want, so I demand it, by any means necessary. Up to and including frivolous lawsuits, threats, and violence.

    Gay fascism. It exists, no matter how much you may choose to ignore it.

    And you would have no problem if the exact same item were posted on Dad29's blog, only it said "UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL Don't let liberal hate radio divide us further"?

    Or would you consider it just more hate from him?
