Now if we can just get an abortion ban. Last time I checked, aborted children have a much higher mortality rate than people who are exposed to second hand smoke, and they don't even have the choice to go somewhere else if they don't like it.
I'm ignoring you, Tony. It's getting old. I am aware of your personal circumstances and I am sorry, but abortion is legal and this blog supports choice.
The reason you are ignoring me is not because its getting old, its that you have no way to reconcile the fact that the United States Constitution states that everyone is equal under the law, but by being pro-choice you are clearly creating two separate and very un-equal classes under the law.
Once you can reconcile this discrepancy, I will be happy to stop trying to make the point.
Do I detect a note of sarcasm there? You have always been allowed to comment and I have generally responded. Our discussions have been good ones, it's just that I've grown tired of posting about other issues and then see them turned into discussions on abortion.
Personally, I think it's rude.
Perhaps some day we will have a full-blown discussion on the abortion issue. I think we agree, however, that it would be preferable there were zero abortions. How to achieve this is where we disagree.
Sorry, I really did not mean it in a sarcastic way at all...limitation of text only communication. I truly meant that I do appreciate the fact that we, dispite our obvious differences, have been able to have fair and open discussions, even if I have taken a fair amount of liberty to post my objections to your pro-choice stance.

ReplyDeleteThis blog supports choice at the same time it supports banning the use of a legal product.
ReplyDeleteHow do you reconcile that?
That is a ridiculous question. The two are not related.
