Conservative Line Dancing

Saw this comment at The Talent Show. Reworked it a bit, but the thought is consistent with my own.

It's been suggested by many right-wingers that disagreement with the president after 9-11 was partisan.

If this is true, then why isn't knee-jerk acquiescence every bit as partisan, and every bit as dangerous?
